I’ve mentioned CT apostilles are WAY above the average of $10 for an apostille. I mean really, where does that money even go? I love stickers, but I would never pay that much for a single, big, gold colored sticker. But the apostille price is not the only puzzling mystery about the CT Secretary of the State. In case it wasn’t apparent that it was a CT birth certificate, with a CT apostille, and that I’d written Connecticut on my address form, somehow the state managed to address my envelope to New Hampshire. I mean, I like New Hampshire and all. They have moose. Moose are cool. It’s just that I don’t live in the land of moose. And I was pretty sure that was majorly obvious. Curious and curiouser… At least my apostilled birth certificate made its way home and I shall now cherish it and its beautiful expensive golden sticker with the CT seal on it. And laugh at this absurdity.
